Arrow Sewing Cabinets 601 Gidget
If you are looking for a swell small sewing table, this is it is It’s stout, a good height and a nice size. I had previously purchased a nice wooden sewing table with expandable sides, so that it looked like a piece of furniture. The realness was that it wasn’t stout sufficient to handle the sewing machine so it was very uncomfortable to sew. This fit my needs utterly and I’m very happy with its
At original glance, this is a nice, stowable little craft table. It was very easy to set up, there was no assemblage required, and it doesn’t take up much space. But when I started to sew a long seam and got my machine up to speed the table shakes so much it was totally unlikely to use my machine to it’s full capacity. I had to keep the stitching speed to < half speed to keep out of the way of the shaking. Nice for little amounts of sewing (hemming, etc.) but not stable sufficient for making more prominent projects.
Good quality and design make this sewing machine table perfect for my uses. It required no assembly, and it is very stable.
I would commend this product to any person that needs a sewing table or a craft table. It comes to the full or entire extent assembled, all you need to do is unfold the legs and set it up. It has a drop down shelf to hold most sewing machines and gives you a very smooth table to aid aid your material. Since I do a lot of quilting, this is idea for me. It gives me more room for my quilts so that they are not bunched up.Sew Much More Sewing Table
I ‘had’ this table for a short time. After using it one afternoon, I scooted my chair in closer, and the whole thing collapsed. I felt lucky to get $50 back for it when I sold it on Craig’s list. I admonished the buyer, they said they would be sure to brace it versus a wall or something.
I did a large total of research before I decisive on a table…and I’m genuinely happy with my purchased Although I would have liked a cabinet that had drawers and folded up for my guests when they arrived, they were cost prohibitive. This table fits my machine perfect. Measure your machine accurately! Mine fit perfect with just 1/4″ to spare. It drops down so the needle is utterly level with the table. You may actually adjust the drop by a couple of inches so your machine must fit properly. It is stable. The drop shelf does not have a completed edge, nor the inside of the table cut edge. I sanded the front edge a bit, and had my husband run a bead of caulking along it is A simple fix, but could without apparent effort be done at the factory whether or not they wanted toxi I guess the price point means we take care of the little things, and it was easy. It would be very easy to move around to other emplacements if I chose to, and I can easily put it away when guests come. I think I’ll be happy with this table for a long time.
Table is lightweight and easy to gathered But if you sew fast or at medium speed, the table shakes so much that I thought we were having an earthquake. Slowing down the machine gets rid of the shake, but I don’t think you must have to do a “workaround” on a table that’s built for sewing. I’ll probably replace this with a desk from the secondhand store and use this for my laptop.
