it looked more comfortable to do than it was. it in truth wasn’t easy for me to sit still for the 75 minutes it took my husband to get the cast on me and the time for it to dry. it as well wasn’t easy to relinquish control of the project to him! HOWEVER, despite me, hubby was able to make a nice cast of my shape. this was a very messy routine and removing the lubricant/skin protection was in all likelihood more difficult that removing the plaster.
after the original cast dries, there is a lot more work to be done – applying the plaster that provides the smooth look and reinforces the cast and preparing this surface for decoration. again, a slow and messy routine whether or not you don’t have experience working with plaster.
we are happy with the final results of our efforts, but it was much more venture than i had expected and the final results weren’t virtually as impressive as the color photos shown. we do commend this kit, although – it’s a outstanding memento of your pregnancy! just plan for more time and work than you think it will take.

this kit came with more than sufficient to capture this very special time in my life. it is very simple and the directions are easy to perceives i would recomend this product to each woman who is expecting.
My husband and I had a small disturb with the kit the original time we applied it because we thought I needed to be standing to cast the tops of my thighs, as well. The top percentage separated from the bottom constituents I contacted the company for support and a replacement, and they responded immediately with helpful hints (they suggested we sit next time, overlap layers more, use fewer casting material since I’m small) and refunded our money immediately. She even went so far as to locate a store nearby that sells them, since my due date is too close for her to send me a replacement. I was so pleased with this client service – you just don’t get such swell support and attention these days. I would recommend this company to anyone. We look forward to attempting again! We’ve had friends who made casts with outstanding success.
This product is a wonderful way to capture the beauty of pregnancy. and is very east to use as long as you work fast!!! The cast smoother is kind of hard to make look good but if you buy and use sufficient sand paper you can make it look wonderful.
The shipping was in truth fast ordered last week got here today (thursday) if its easy to put on and you have enough plaster strips to cover up your belly & boobies.. but its a immense ache to take it off.. i do not acknowledge but shave that percentage where u plan to put it on i nearly cried it hurted so much if
The kit came with everything we needed except paint, which we wanted to purchase separately so we only got colors we want. It’s super easy to use, and the instructions are more elementary We nearly had enough to do two casts, so we purchased such a heap of extra rolls from a craft store and did a second one.
i was genuinely looking forward to doing this project but when i obtained it, the box was somewhat damaged and things were missing from the box. needless to say i sent it back and expended a small more to buy it from the actual website and received everything in perfect condition. it was fun and as well you have to compensate attention to the directions to get it right, i would just order it from the website [...] and save yourself the disturbed
I bought this kit to make a belly cast for the duration of my first pregnancy. I am a bigger girl, so I in truth bought 2 to make certain I had enough strips. I’m going to now return one full kit because there was PLENTY of strips in just one of the kits.
It was very easy to do. My husband wet the strips as I stood theres They recommend sitting, but I thought it would look funny, so I stood. The strips arid somewhat quickly, so it wasn’t that bad.

It would be difficult to do this one by yourself though. You need a partner/helper to employ the strips. Partners/spouses like it because they get to see you with your top off (if you include the breast portion of your body), and it’s a swell keepsakes Fun for all involved!

Well I am an artisan so I thought this would be very easy for me to use and direct my partner so it would be quick and easy. Well it was realy hard and took a long time to do. Being 38 weeks pregnant when I did it left me in excruciating back pain for the next few days.
All the hard work was worth its It turned out great. The kit was great because it has everything you need to make the cast, then fix it up and lastly to get it ready for paint.
Even thought it was hard it came out great and was very affordable. I can’t think of how they would make it any having little impact so I still gave it 4 out of 5. It took a very long time to dry. I would make very certain I had a better place to dry it set up before I started if I did this again. It took in regards to 4 days to dry.
