Stand alone charging that I may as well connect to the camera allowing for longer shots… Just what I wanted.

Size is same as the LCD bacpac but the battery bacpac weighs almost as much as the whole camera. Not sure whether or not I would want it attached to my head mount.

What would I change or ask differently? How with regards to a small carrying case that I may safely carry this in when not in applied I worry regarding damage to the port when not in employed Same issue I have with the LCD bacpac. Most of us use the cameras for what they were designed for, action shots, meaning that having a small safe carrying case is necessities

I have 4 GoPros and keeping up with cards and batteries for the duration of a hectic shoot may be tough. This thing is a must have. The camera lasts so long now it’s great. as well perfective for timelapse shooting when you don’t have nearby house power. I also use the battery bacpacs to charge batteries instead of the camera. My only complaint is that you can’t plug the LCD bacpac to the battery module so I could have the best of both worlds.

I genuinely enjoy the additional video opportunities afforded by the GoPro Battery Bacpac as it allows me to have that charged second battery ready when needed. I particularly like the fact that I may plug the Bacpac into my laptop while travelling and get charged up that way. Very progressed and an special add-on to my GoPro Hero collection. An magnificent system overall – unbeatable POV camera.

I’ve employed this backpac as it was intended, for extending the battery life of the camera, but I find it gets more use as a battery charger. While my GoPro is in use, I have this plugged in to a changer, so when the battery dies, I can just swap out the two. This allows me to either keep the GoPro small and light, or have the LCD packpac attached. While sea kayaking, or other long excursions without power, I have used this to keep the footage coming.

My only wish would be to additionally have the option secure the LCD backpac behind this backpac. This could be especially useful, since the LCD makes the battery life so short, the fun is many times over before it began. So doubling the life would be quite nice. It would also make the GoPro (and case) the fattest little camera on the market. Still, I think I would make use of it is

This product is awesome! When attached it adds a little #2 by your battery life bar. When it is dead the 2 goes away so you recognise the camera is using battery 1. I also used 2 usb cords to charge the camera and battery pack at the same time. Thanks GoPro!

Battery life of the GoPro is now around 5 hours. 1080p on 32Gig SD is about 5 hours! Very pleased with the battery pack.
