Rs W1 Womens Curved Ergonomic Connect
I love it too but not similar to the initial reviewer, I am a huge woman and was concerned in regards to fit. No worries, a swell deal of extra length but I in addition find a small slack in the keeper all over the chest: need to review the Black Rapid film on using this strap.
My neck feels outstanding after 3 hours of wearing this in a botanical garden shoot: just drop the camera and it slips to the correct position on my hip with no strain at all. It has a nice subtle effeminate brocade fabric on the thicker share that goes all over the chest and coordinates with any costume one may choose to wear.
Others in a different forum have cited the fastener that goes into the bottom hole for tripods and had such a lot of worries regarding this holding the camera securely but I feel very secure with said fastener and it is easy to disconnect for tripod utilized My only concern is that when you do disconnect to place the camera on the tripod. there is no strap to secure the camera while fumbling with the tripod connector. A minor point since I am most likely more clumsy than other photgraphers but I would love to see a wrist strap that attaches to the left side on the camera on the common strap connector. Everything I have found attaches to the bottom tripod hole. I plan to work on one to meet my needs but possibly Black Rapid will come up with something suitable.
I love gimmicks and all knids of camera accessaries but many times am diappointed in my purchases. Black Rapid definetly delivers on this one and it is well worth the purchase costly
I’ve been searching for a camera strap like this for a long time, and I’m so glad BlackRapid devised one for me! I went on vacation and was competent to have my camera by my side the entire time, with minimal discomfort! I have a Nikon D700 with the gigantic 24-70mm 2.8 lens, so that’s saying a lot! The fact that it’s curved to fit around a lady’s bust was awesome, and it’s extremely tough and durable. I wasn’t frightened of it stretching or breaking at all. I use it each day! Also, as a side note – I was scared it would be too small for me, because I’m a gorgeous big girl – but it fit just fine. Enjoy, and please click whether or not this review helped you out at all! I hope it did!
Absolutely love it!!
I did need the video from the Photo Sister internetlocation to change it the right way though. I in addition wish the internet web site and the black rapid site was clearer that it does come with a Fastener R and wish that rather it came with the one that works with the tripod, now I’ll have to purchase that one too and I’ll end up with three Fastener’s when I only necessitated one. if you are a multiple camera user though, it might not be a bad thing.
Guess you can’t have everything though.
I LOVE this strap! It’s in truth comfortable and puts my camera right where I want it is It’s outstanding for walking…no more camera bouncing on my muffintop. I even wear my camera in the car now when I’m doing city shooting. The camera just sits in my lap and when I pull over and hop out it’s ready to go.
For those of you who mentioned the inconvenience of taking it off to put the camera on your tripod — Black Rapid makes a (not inexpensive) longer screw/hook that goes through the snap plate from your tripod, so all you have to do to put the camera on the tripod is unclip your strap rather than unscrew it:[...] It’s a small annoying to perpetually have the plate on your camera, but more annoying to disconnect the screw to use the tripod. I do agree with the former reviewer that it’s scary to put your camera on the tripod without a strap attached, so I have clipped the Black Rapid clip to the loop on the side of my camera, but it takes galore strength and is a small awkward. A wrist strap is a outstanding idea.
There are three things I don’t care for, which I could probably solve with a little little It’s hard to adjust. What goes where and what do I pull? It takes me a few tries.
2) I think it is slipping once I modify it is It perpetually seems to be a little too long and I find myself having to alter it every time I use it is Maybe I’m doing it wrong!
3) It’s hard to put on quickly. The strap invariably needs untwisting and padded share constantly seems to be in the faulty place.
Otherwise I highly commend this product, and the tripod screw!
I love this strap! Its design is fun, easy to use and comfortable. I find myself taking my DSLR to the streets. I have applied it with my sling bag and my backpack, and the strap worked OK with both. I have a small frame (5’1′”), and with that the extra strap material that is folded with the keeper tends to slide up, instead of holding flat. However, that is a very minor aggravation compared to how my original strap utilized to choke me.

I purchased this after reading so many reviews and observing it on Photo Sister. I found the strap a bit difficult to adjust. I in addition do not like the way it attaches to the camera as if I am going to use a tripod I have to completly take it off to put the camera on the tripod. I also did not like holding the strap on the camera in a bag as the metal will or could scratch your LCD screen. I like the idea but it need betterment and the price is high for this strap. It does work great after you figure it out for all day shooting and is comfortable but I can not say I would buy it again until they mprove the ideal
This camera strap is much more comfortable to wear than those that leave a heavy camera dangling from your neck. I applied it recently on assorted hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park. It provided quick access to my camera and the bumpers retained it out of the way when I was hiking. The curve does indeed make a difference in the way the strap falls all over your chest. Although…well let’s just say that the curve is set at a point that’s ideal for younger women. The the instruction video on photosister.com is helpful. Despite the company’s claims, the related Brad Strap utterly does NOT work with this strap.
I received this strap as a birthday gift from a fellow shutter buddy. It took such a lot of time to get used to it–the fact that my camera was just gonna be dangling behind my upper thigh? It just didn’t sit right. After a few weeks I had already gotten used to the strap and now I nearly never take it off. This strap does everything that it’s advertised toxicant It’s not advertised although that you can even strap on your flash battery pack onto this strap. I commend that this strap gets bought for any photographer.
The only con that I can think of is that I’m too skinny I think which leaves this strap constantly sliding out of position so that the bumpers constantly need to be readjusted.
Pro: I got my sister one for her birthday.
I bought this strap for my wife after reading about this strap on various photography websites/blogs. The strap is specifically designed with women involved as the strap centers comfortably in amongst a woman’s chest area. My wife was complaining how uncomfortable the supplied Nikon strap that came with the camera was. Now she in truth enjoys using this strap as it takes the weight off her neck and moves it comfortably onto her shoulders.
*** Update: Somehow/way the strap got twisted inside itself and I was not competent to mend it myself. I contact BlackRapid support and after 6 months the REPLACED THE STRAP for FREE as they were not able to untwist it either. That speaks volumes to me as a company is only good as their products. Since they stood behind their product they have made a client for life.
I had been looking at this strap for a good 6 months before I in truth broke down and purchased it is It’s not precisely cheap for a camera strap. I’ve used it on various shoots now and in truth take delight in not having my camera around my neck anymore and like that the strap doesn’t move and screw up my clothing every time I put the camera down and bring it back up to shoot. Adjusting this strap to your own body is a little tricky, I had to go through the educational video by PhotoSister assorted times before I understood how to do everything. However once it’s adjusted to your own body, it’s great and you don’t have to worry about that anymore! I am still trying to figure out how to put the camera down with this strap on it, as the connection through the tripod screw is a little unusual. But overall, I’m thrilled with the product and would highly recommend it!
